Here I received my training and internship. Working in the hospital as a volunteer Doula with numerous moms at all phases of labor including natural, induced, medicated, and cesarean births.
My second year I continued my training and also was a mentor/trainer to new Doulas entering the program.
Graduate of the Seasons of Birth Doula Mentorship. Here I received
one-on-one training, as well as group support with seasoned Doulas in the business for over ten years. The program was tailored to my unique needs and included advanced Doula skills, placenta encapsulation training, belly casting, and business skills.

I've had the great fortune of being a stay-at-home mom to my one and only handsome son, and wife to my high school sweetheart.
I've soaked up every second in the 18 years of raising my son, including homeschooling until junior high. As he successfully continues his education, pursuing his passions in life and gaining his independence, I've been finding mine as well.
I'm completely obsessed with every aspect of birth.
When I'm not providing amazing care to moms and families, I'm continuing training, reading, attending workshops, online seminars and anything else I can find to further expand my knowledge. Helping me provide the best experience for you as this is my passion to which I am deeply devoted.
Connecting with moms and families on a personal level and meeting their needs is where I find one of my biggest joys in life.
